How late is Fifty’s open? Is there a liquor store open late in Hayward?

We’re open until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday nights — most liquor stores in Hayward close by 11 PM. Weekdays we open early at 6 AM; Monday through Thursday we close at 11 PM, and Sunday we’re open 10 AM to 11 PM.

Is there a liquor store open right now in Hayward? What about 24 hours?

If it’s before 11 PM — or before 2 AM on a Friday or Saturday night — Fifty’s is open right now. There’s no 24-hour liquor store in Hayward or anywhere in California: state law cuts off all alcohol sales at 2 AM, and on weekends we run right up to that limit. What’s the latest you can buy alcohol in California?

California law allows alcohol sales until 2 AM — after that, no store or bar in the state can sell until 6 AM. Sunday is no different: the same 6 AM–2 AM window applies every day of the week (we’re open Sundays 10 AM to 11 PM). Fifty’s runs right up against both ends of that limit: open at 6 AM sharp on weekdays — the earliest you can legally buy in California — and until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday nights.
